I've Met a Child (Narrative Poem)
-to all the people who wants to refresh their memories of childhood. -Christina Lee (Final Draft)
A girl with eyes that glistens
like the stars at night, had the world.
She tied her dark hair with pink ribbons
as she made everyone bend their knees.
She had a sucker in one hand
and her Mr. Teddy in the other.
She looked at me,
with a great big smile hanging on to her ears,
as she opened her mouth with no fear.
"Hi"With a little boast,
she gave me her name.
A name that she keeps in her heart,
from her father. Christina.
She ran to the green grass w
ith her wings up high freely,
and gave me her hand.
With no hesitation,
I chose the road of hope.
No more false grins.
No more pain.
No more agony.
No more.
I didn't want to go back.
To the world that has already ruined my innocence.
I didn't want to let go of my little girl, Christina.
